Letter and Sound Tracker
This tool allows educators to:
- Record and track letter recognition and corresponding sounds in one place.
- Monitor child progress with data-driven performance tracking.
- Generate parent letter reports to keep families updated on student growth.
How to Track
1. Add Letter Recognition Assessment Results
A. To add letter recognition assessment results and record the children's performance, go to ‘Letter & Sound’ module and click on the ‘+ Add Letter Recognition Results’ button.

B. Record the following details:
- Click on each letter (uppercase/lowercase) or letter sound to record the child's performance, marking it as 'Correct' or 'Incorrect.'
- (Optional) Add observation notes to capture specific strengths, challenges, or areas of confusion.
- Select test session date
- (Optional) Sync the results to the Portfolio, with corresponding DRDP measures automatically tagged.

2. Auto-calculate Performance Level Based on Accuracy
Automatically determine each child's performance level based on their accuracy:
- Not Meeting Expectations
- Progressing Towards Expectations
- Meets Expectation
- Exceeds Expectations

3. Letter Recognition Performance Overview
A. Letter ViewEasy access to the class's performance on letter recognition and letter sounds (correct, incorrect, or not tested), with the option to download for further analysis.

B. Child View
Easy access to each child’s performance on letter recognition and letter sounds (correct, incorrect, or not tested), with the option to generate the Parent Letter Report or each child’s performance details within the selected period.

A. Parent ReportShare parent letter reports to keep parents informed of student progress.
You can also add your comments to provide valuable feedback. To do this, simply click the “Add Comment” button.

B. Letter Recognition Performance
Easy access to each child’s letter recognition performance within the selected period, and make targeted improvements to your teaching approach.


Enable Multiple Sounds
5. (Optional) Enable multiple sounds for each letter
By default, letter sounds will only include the basic sounds. To enable multiple sounds for a letter, go to Letter Recognition Assessment and click on the ‘Letter Sound Settings’ button.
