How to Use the Drop-off Note Feature

With Learning Genie’s Drop-off Note feature, parents and teachers can easily communicate important information about the child’s day—right from drop-off! This helps ensure a smooth and personalized care experience.

What is a Drop-off Note?

• Drop-off notes are messages parents can submit during drop-off.
  
  
• These notes appear at the top of the child’s Engagement page and are prioritized above other engagement items.
  
  
• Teachers can view them to stay informed about the child’s needs, mood, health, or schedule for the day.
  
  

 How to View Drop-off Notes

On the Web Portal:

1. Go to the child’s Engagement page.
   
   
2. Filter engagement items by Drop-off Note to view only those entries.
   
   

On iPad or Mobile Phone:

1. Open the Learning Genie Educator App.
   
   
2. Navigate to the child’s engagement records.
   
   
3. Drop-off notes will appear at the top of the daily log.
   

 How to Download Drop-off Notes

• You can download the child’s Daily Report (PDF).
  
  
• Drop-off notes will be listed first in the PDF, followed by other engagement items.
