How to Take Photos from the Web Portal

You can now take real-time photos and attach them directly to your observation notes — all from the Learning Genie Web Portal (no need to upload separately!).

Follow these steps to snap and save photos right from your browser:

Steps to Take a Picture on the Web Portal

1. Log in to your Learning Genie Web Portal.
   
   
2. Click on the Portfolio tab and select the class you’re working in.
   
   
3. Click the “+ Add Observation” button.
   
4. In the Media section of the observation form, click “Take a Picture”.
   
5. Your device’s camera will open in a pop-up window (make sure to allow camera access if prompted).
6. Take your photo!
7. The image will automatically attach to your observation.
8. Complete the rest of the observation (text, tags, children), then click “Save”.
   

Your observation now includes the photo you just took — no upload needed!
