How to Send the Parent Progress Report to Families
You can now send Parent Progress Reports directly to families with just one click! Parents will receive the report in their Learning Genie Parent App and can digitally sign and return it to you.
Note: This feature is only available for agencies using the Family Engagement Module.
Step by Step Guide:
1. Log in to web.learning-genie.com and log in to your teacher account.
2. Access the Report
Navigate to:
Assessment Report > DRDP Report > Parent Progress Report
3. Complete the Action Plan
Go to the Action Plan tab and choose between two modes:
Manual Mode:
- Select up to 6 Strength Measures and 6 Growth Measures
- Add comments, descriptions, your signature, and conference date
- Click Save when you're done
Auto Mode:
- Select up to 2 Strength Measures and 2 Growth Measures
- The system will generate the report for you (you can still edit it)
- Add your signature and conference date
- Click Save
Important: If you switch between modes, your current plan won’t carry over—but it will be saved if you switch back.
4. Send the Report
Once the Action Plan is saved, click “Send Report to Parents.”
Parents will receive it in their app, where they can review, sign on their phone, and submit it back to you.
Understanding Report Statuses
Each student’s report will show one of the following:
- Incomplete Action Plan – Action plan not started yet
- Ready To Be Sent – Action plan is complete and ready to send
- Sent – Report has been sent to the parent
- Signed – Parent has signed and returned the report
Additional Notes
- You can only send reports after completing the Action Plan
- Reports are automatically translated into the parent’s app language
- If you make changes to the Action Plan after sending, the parents’ app will automatically update with the latest version
