How to Restore Deleted Observation Notes

Accidentally deleted an observation note? Don’t worry — you can restore it in just a few steps!
This guide will walk you through how to bring back deleted notes on both the App and the Web Version

Follow these quick steps to recover deleted observation notes for a specific child:

1. Log in to the Learning Genie Web Portal and click on the classroom where the note was originally created.
   
   
   
2. Select the child whose deleted notes you want to restore, then click the Restore button (🗘).
   
   
   
3. From the list, check the notes you want to restore, and click “Restore.”
   
4. A confirmation message will appear — click “Confirm” to complete the process.

Your selected notes will be restored and available again in the child’s portfolio!

Notes:

• Only deleted observations can be restored — other content types are not included.
  
  
• If a deleted note does not appear in your list, it may have been removed permanently or belong to a different class.
