How to Remove a Teacher from a Classroom

There may be times when an agency or school admin needs to update classroom assignments by removing a teacher. This can happen if a teacher has moved to another classroom, left the agency, or no longer needs access. Properly managing classroom assignments ensures accurate records and helps maintain data security.

 

Steps to Remove a Teacher from a Classroom

Option 1: Through Admin Settings

1. Log in to the web portal and go to Admin Settings.

2. Go to Manage Staff.

3. Search for the teacher by name or email.

4. Click the pencil icon next to their name.

5.  Remove them from the classroom by either:

  • Clicking the x mark next to the class, or

  • Selecting Edit Sites/Classes, then deselecting the classroom. (You may also reassign them to a different class here if needed.)

Option 2: From the Homepage

1. On the homepage, navigate to the site and class where the teacher is currently assigned to.

2. Click on the Teacher section of the class card to view the Teacher List.

3.  In the Teacher List, click the x mark next to the class name to remove the teacher from that class.
