You can recall (remove) a message or photo you’ve sent if you need to take it back. This will remove the message from both your chat and the recipient’s view.
Important Note:
Only the sender can recall a message or photo. Once recalled, the recipient will no longer see it in the chat.
1. Open the Messages tab and go to the chat where you want to remove the message.
2. Long press on the message or photo you want to recall until options appear. Tap Recall.
3. Confirm your action
and voilà! The message is recalled instantly.
