How to manually sign in/out students from class (Attendance only)

This guide walks you through manually completing student sign-ins and sign-outs using the Learning Genie Web Portal or iPad Educator App.

Note: The process for signing out is the same as signing in—just follow the same steps and select “Sign Out” where applicable.

1. Navigate to "Attendance" > "Sign-in/out Review."

2. Select the child from the pending attendance pool.

3. Review the child's attendance card and click Sign In to approve.

1. Go to "Attendance" > "Sign-in/out Review > Click on the A-Z button

2. Look up the child by the first name.

3. Select a pick-up person.

4. Ask the parent to sign using the mouse, and hit Submit.

5. Click Sign-in.

1. Go to "Attendance" > "Attendance Review."

2. Select the classroom the child is enrolled in.

3. Select a child.

4. Select "Manual Sign-in".

5. Select a pick-up person.

6. Ask the parent to sign using the mouse, and hit Submit.

7. Click Sign-in

1. Log in to Learning Genie using the iPad Educator app and go to Attendance > Sign-in/out Review

2. Tap on the attendance card of the child to be signed in. Once reviewed, click Sign In.

1. Tap on the A~Z button in the "Sign-in/out Review" tab.

2. Select a child's attendance card you want to sign in

3. Select Manual Sign In

4. Select a pick-up person

5. You can take a picture of the parent's signature and have them sign directly on the device. Then hit Sign In.

1. Go to Attendance > Attendance Review

2. Select the classroom the child belongs to and choose the child's attendance card.

3. Select Manual Sign In

4. Select the pick-up person

5. You can take a picture of the parent's signature and have them sign directly on the device. Then hit Sign In.

And voila!

Reminder: The process for signing out is exactly the same—just scan the QR code and follow the steps above!
