How to Invite Families to Learning Genie (Web)

For Teachers and Admins using the Learning Genie Web Portal

You can invite families to join Learning Genie in two ways:

• Using an Invitation Code
  
  
• Using an Email Invitation
  

Below are step-by-step instructions for both methods, plus how to manage pending invites and edit or resend invitations.

How to Access the Parent Invitation Tools

1. Log in to the Learning Genie Web Portal.
   
   
2. Go to your Classroom and click on the “Parent” tab.
   

 Invite Families Using a Code

1. Click Parent Code Invitation.
   
2. Copy the child’s code and share it with the family (they will enter the code in the parent app).
   
   • If no code appears, click Generate Code.
     
     

Invite Families by Email

1. Click Email Invitation.
   
2. Click the "Invitation Needed" tab.
   
3. Find the child, enter the parent's email, and click Invite.
   
4. Confirm the invitation.
   

• Reinvite a Parent (Expired Login)
  If a parent hasn’t logged in within 30 days, the invite will expire.
  → Click the three dots next to their name and select Send New Invitation.
  
  
• Edit an Incorrect Email
  Hover over the email in the Pending tab, then click the pencil icon ✏️ to edit.
  
  
• Invite Another Family Member
  In the Onboarded tab, click the three dots next to an existing parent and choose Invite another family member...
  
  

How to remove a Parent from a Child’s Profile
In the Onboarded tab, click the three dots next to their email and select Deactivate this email.
