How to Invite Families to Learning Genie (App)
Inviting families to connect on Learning Genie is quick and easy using the Educator App. You can invite them using either a Parent Code or an Email Invitation.
Steps to Invite Families (in the App):
- Open the Learning Genie Educator App.
- Go to the Roster tab.
- Tap on the Children or Parents section.
- Tap the "Invite" button.
- Choose one of the two invite options:
Option 1: Invite with Parent Code
- This generates printable codes you can give to families.
- After tapping Parent Code, the codes will be emailed to you.
- Each child automatically has two codes, but you can generate more for additional guardians by tapping on the child’s profile.
- The code handouts include instructions for families to get started.
Note: Each code is unique and can only be used once.
Option 2: Invite with Email Invitation
- Select Email Invitation and enter the family member’s email address.
- The parent will receive an email with login credentials.
- The temporary login is valid for 30 days.
- If the parent doesn’t complete the setup in time, you can resend the invitation at any time.
