How to Invite Families to Learning Genie (App)

Inviting families to connect on Learning Genie is quick and easy using the Educator App. You can invite them using either a Parent Code or an Email Invitation.


 Steps to Invite Families (in the App):

  1. Open the Learning Genie Educator App.

  2. Go to the Roster tab.

  3. Tap on the Children or Parents section.
  4. Tap the "Invite" button.
  5. Choose one of the two invite options:

 Option 1: Invite with Parent Code

  • This generates printable codes you can give to families.

  • After tapping Parent Code, the codes will be emailed to you.

  • Each child automatically has two codes, but you can generate more for additional guardians by tapping on the child’s profile.

  • The code handouts include instructions for families to get started.

 Note: Each code is unique and can only be used once.


Option 2: Invite with Email Invitation

  • Select Email Invitation and enter the family member’s email address.

  • The parent will receive an email with login credentials.

  • The temporary login is valid for 30 days.

  • If the parent doesn’t complete the setup in time, you can resend the invitation at any time.
