How to Initiate One-on-One Chat (App)

By default, the main communication channel is a group chat with all family members onboarded in the child's profile and the teacher(s).

 However, there's also a 1-on-1 chat feature available. Here are the instructions for teachers to initiate a 1-on-1 chat with the parents

 1. Log in to the Learning Genie app and tap the orange “Plus” icon.

2. Click the green "message" icon.

3. Tap your child's name.

 4. Select the “Group Members” icon in the right-hand corner.

5. Locate the teacher or staff member with whom you want to initiate the one-on-one chat, and tap the chat glove icon.

6. You can now send a direct message to the selected teacher or staff member.
