How to fix upload error: Site name includes special characters

When uploading sites in DRDP Online, special characters are not permitted in site names to maintain system compatibility and prevent synchronization errors. While Learning Genie allows special characters in site names, we provide an option to create an alias specifically for DRDP Online uploads. This allows you to maintain your preferred name in Learning Genie while successfully uploading to DRDP Online.

If you receive an upload error about special characters in your site name, follow these steps:

1. Access Admin Settings

• Go to "Assessment Settings"
• Select "DRDP Setting"
• Navigate to "Sync with DRDP Online via API" then "Update Site Info"

2. Click on the Next button to proceed

Note: During this process, you can also review and modify which sites/classes you want to include in the upload.

3. Under Site Name Not Matched

• Type the site name without any special characters in the Site Name Alias box
• Click on the Next button to proceed

4. Click the Complete to save the changes.

Following these steps will ensure successful DRDP synchronization and resolve the upload error.
