When uploading assessment data from Learning Genie to DRDP Online, you may encounter an error indicating that there are missing attributes. This error indicates that required information fields for children's profiles are incomplete or missing, preventing successful data transfer between platforms.
What Causes This Error?
This error occurs when the system detects mandatory fields that are either empty or contain invalid data in the child's locked assessment ratings during the upload process. The upload validation checks for essential information needed to create or update a child's profile in the system.
To ensure successful upload, please ensure all children's attributes in Learning Genie are filled in.
Required Fields for Upload:
- Race
- Hispanic
- Home Language
- ELD status
- IEP Status
- Teacher Email
- Program Name
- External ID (code/local ID)
How to Resolve This Error?
Updating Child's Record in Learning Genie:
1. Go to Admin Settings > Assessment Settings > Locked Ratings
2. Search for the specific child by name.
Note: Ensure you are looking at the right assessment period.
3. Once the student is found, hover over their name and click the pencil icon to view and edit the student's locked information.
4. Review the error list and fill in all missing required information under the child's additional information tab

To avoid these errors in future uploads, ensure that all required fields are filled out before locking assessments. You can do this by:
- Manually entering the information on each child’s profile page (individually or by batch update).
- Performing a manual roster import that includes the required information.
- If you have an automatic roster import set up, confirm that all required fields are included in the import data.
