How to Create and Send an Engagement Post to Families

 For Educators and Admins using the Learning Genie Web Portal or Educator App 


You can easily share updates, photos, activities, and more with families using Learning Genie’s Engagement Post feature. Here's how to create and send one from either the web portal or the educator app:


 On the Web Portal:

  1. Log in to the Learning Genie Web Portal.

  2. Go to your classroom and click the “Engagement” tab at the top.
    OR
    From the sidebar, go to Engagement > Send Engagement, then choose a classroom.
  3. Click the + Add button to begin a new post.
  4. Choose the type of Engagement Item you want to send (e.g., Activity, Message, Photo).
  5. Fill in the required details.

  6. Click Save to send your post to parents.


 On the Educator App:

  1. Open the Learning Genie Educator App and go to the Engagement tab.
    (You can switch classrooms at the top if needed.)
  2. Tap the orange plus (+) icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select the type of Engagement Item you want to share.
  4. Fill out the engagement details.
  5. Tap the blue checkmark button to send the post to families.
