How to blur a picture

If you need to blur sensitive information in a picture before sharing it with families, you can easily do this within the Learning Genie app.

Follow the steps below:

 For Mobile App Users (Educator App)

1. Tap on the engagement tab and tap on the "+" sign button to add an observation and add the desired picture.

      2.  Tap again on the picture.

 

      3.  Tap on the "Add Effects" button.

 

      4.  Tap on the "Privacy Filter" button. 

 

      5.  Use your finger to drag across the area you want to blur.

• • You can blur multiple parts of the image if needed.

      6.  Tap “check mark” once you’re done editing.


       7.  Continue with your post or message as usual.

 Notes

• Blurring is permanent once saved. Make sure you're happy with the changes before finalizing.
