How to manually add In-Kind entry
It’s easy to add an In-Kind entry manually. Here’s how:
- Go to “In-Kind” > “Summary Report”.

- Then, click the “Add New In-Kind Entry” button in the upper-right corner.

- Begin by searching for the volunteer/donor using the child or parent's name. If the individual is not found in the system, proceed by clicking on "Add Parent"

- If you need to manually add a third-party contributor, follow these steps:
- Click the “Add Person” Button
This button allows you to register a new third-party contributor to your records. - Choose the Type of Contributor
After clicking “Add Person,” you’ll be given two options:
- Community Individual – Select this if the donor or volunteer is an individual (e.g., a parent, neighbor, or local volunteer).
- Community Entity – Select this if the contribution is coming from an organization or business (e.g., a local nonprofit, grocery store, or company).
- Community Individual – Select this if the donor or volunteer is an individual (e.g., a parent, neighbor, or local volunteer).
- Fill in the Required Information
Provide as much detail as possible, such as the name, contact information, and any relevant notes.

- Once the person is identified, select the relevant activity type. Provide a description for the activity. For At-Home or Volunteer activities, choose from the predefined list. For donations, specify what was contributed.
Then, input the duration in minutes and the date of the activity.
- Obtain signatures or proof of signatures. If the volunteer/donor is physically present, guide them to sign directly into the "Signature of Volunteer/Donor" box.
If a paper form or document with the volunteer/donor's signature has been collected, attach the file as proof of signature.
Lastly, add your own signature in the designated "Signature of Staff" box and proceed to click "Save".
